Getting your MSN Mail in Outlook Express

Here is a quick and easy way to set up your web-based msn.com mail account in Outlook Express

10 Easy Steps!

NOTE: you MUST be:

• a paid MSN.COM subscriber,
• secondary subscriber on a paid account, OR
• Extra Storage Subscriber to use this function:

1) Start Outlook Express, Click on Tools, then on Accounts:

2) When Accounts opens, click on the Mail tab:

3) Click on Add then Mail:

4) Fill out the Form starting with your @MSN.com Email Address:

5) Use the Drop down boxes to tell OE that you are using an HTTP server and your Provider is MSN

5.5) Alternative Setup:Use the Drop down boxes to tell OE that you are using an HTTP server and your Provider is Other, then enter this url in the server area: http://oe.msn.msnmail.hotmail.com/cgi-bin/hmdata

6) Enter your MSN.com name and Password as shown:

7) Click on NEXT then on FINISH when you are done, and you will be back at the mail screen:

8) Click on Close and then  Download the folder list, Click on YES:

9) The Download Starts:

10) Then you are Ready to use your Mail:
