Additional Setup

You must tell Outlook Express (OE) to "Leave messages on server" if you wish them to remain in your webtv.net mailbox when you transfer them to the PC. Please complete these additional steps before attempting message transfer to avoid losing mail from your webtv.net mailbox. Below is how:

6b) In OE, choose Tools then Accounts, then click on the MAIL tab.

6c)Choose the account you created (many times it will be called pop.webtv.net) and click Properties

6d)Click the Advanced tab, then put a check mark in "Leave a copy of messages on Server"

6e) Click OK

6f) Close the other extra windows and then to start getting the messages.
